Hello,
is it possible to deploy PulseCollector in (Genesys) HA-mode, when using GAEx instance (w/ one Pulse plugin/application) neither in load-balancing nor in (Genesys) HA-mode ?

excerpt from EZP 8.5.1 deployment guide:
Deploy Pulse Collector
....
4. For a high-availability (HA) deployment, repeat step 2 to install the backup instance
to separate folder. You need a Pulse Collector for each instance of the Pulse application.
5. In GAX, add the Pulse Collector Application object to the connections of your
GAX Application object.
6. For a load-balanced environment configuration with two GAX applications and Pulse
plug-ins, associate one GAX with the primary Pulse Collector and the second GAX
with the backup Pulse Collector as follows:

.....

Deploy Pulse
.....
7. For a High Availability (HA) deployment,
a. Complete Steps 2-6, for each GAX Application object to be used with the
Pulse plug-in.

Hi Helmut,
From my understanding, you can have an HA pair of Pulse Collectors, but each (Primary and Backup) will need its own GAX/Pulse application.

So, is it fair to say,
.) HA can only be achieved by having two GAEx instances (w/ load balancer in front)
.) always the primary PulseCollector has to be added in the connections tab of corresponding GAEx instance.

The Latest Version 8.5.104.04 says Two GAX instance can be connected to same Primary Pulse Collector. I have the same setup , but only one GAX - Pulse works at a time. Have anyone made it work succesfully.
