  • 1.  Unable to read CME configuration from WWE using "Service Client API"

    Hi Community,

    I unable to read a CME configuration options using Service Client API from WWE custom tab. The below are the details,

    WWE Version: "8.5.202.71"

    ServiceClientAPI: https://docs.genesys.com/Documentation/HTCC/8.5.2/Dev/ServiceClientAPI

    Library used for development: https://docs.genesys.com/Special:Repository/service-client-api.zip?page=Documentation:HTCC:Dev:ServiceClientAPI:8.5.2&id=279028310677

    ISSUE: "genesys.wwe.service.configuration" method is not working.

    ERROR LOG: ServiceClientAPI: receiveMessage: { "request": "configuration.getOption", "referenceId": "0", "errorMessage": "The request does not exist in this service.", "userAgent": "WWE Server", "protocolVersion": 2 }

    Hi,

    From what I remember the ability to read CME configuration options is only supported by WWE v9+.

    Thanks for the update.

    I have one more question, how to read/access WWE Cassandra DB through api.  We believe Cassandra db sync up with CME DB so is it possible to read config details from Cassandra DB through API.

    Hi Ilayaraja,

    It's not something I've heard of or done before.

    In pre WWE 9+ customisations my preferred method was to pass configuration details in the query string parameteres of the URL.
