Salesforce and GPlus integration considerations for email?

    What are some key considerations when integrating with Salesforce via the GPlus adapter as it pertains to Email?  In this case, the idea would be to leverage Genesys Email Server instead of having emails first go to SFDC and then submitting to Genesys via capture point for routing?

    Can email details (subject, body) easily be saved to a corresponding SF case for example?
