Thanks all for your responses, actually I have read all documentation which you have mentioned but still not convinced that it will work with offline interactions (like email) as Jakub mentioned.
I still not have the practical experience and just try to design the solution, that's why i have initiated this thread
often incase of ixn switchover (for same ixn pairs) the interactions stuck so we resetting the status to enforce resubmitting it again to URS\ORS. what will happen in DR even the DB log shipping successfully executed?
the interactions already stamped with the IXN/UCS application names, how the DR components will resume processing these interactions while Main Site components are not reachable.

You are not fully right - in case, you have opened an email which has not been already sent, you will loose it if you turn off the IXN server or switch it over.

Hello Mohammed,
Keep in mind that IXN Server always store all his interactions in the database. So, you are fully dependant of what your infra and Database can achieve.
If it's a SQL Server, you may want to have a look at SQL Log Shipping process for data replications.
For Oracle, ideally, you want to use RAC technology to ensure a real-time replication of the databases.
Also, if you have the possibilities to use a virtual IP or a load balancer, it will be easier to configure your applications.
UCS and IXN Server will use what's in the database they are configured with.
You may focus on the Interaction Server possibilities here; https://docs.genesys.com/Documentation/ES/8.1.4/User/Ixn
Hope this helps.
Keven

Hello
Does anyone has an experience for delivering Disaster Recovery for Digital Channels (especially Email Server)
the documentation is not helpful in this subject as I have a lot of questions such as:-
1- During DR activity, how we can deal with submitted emails (emails waiting to be assigned, emails which placed in Workbins,.. )
2- what is best practice for Configuration of IXN & UCS Proxy in DR ?
3- How we can manage SQL replication in a more professional way especially for a large database like UCS?
