  • 1.  Question on multiple OCS Setup

    Hi,

    We have a Genesys pure Engage environment which all Genesys components (This setup also includes dialer which has CPD capabilities).

    Now. we have a new requirement to setup additional dialer (preview based) as part of TCPA compliance. 

    I would like to know

    1. if we can have 2 CX contact and OCS setup in the same environment ? ideally configured as separate tenant (multi tenant) but sharing the majority of underlying resources (E.g. SIP server, ORS, URS, Infomart, etc)

    2. Setup an Independent platform for TCPA 

    I would like to understand which is best approach and are there any other approach other than listed?

    based on our interaction with Genesys they are recommending option #2. ​

    While we dont have it currently, we certainly have had multiple OCS instances in our environment previously (one for lending and one for collections department).  In the end we didnt need it, so have consolidated down to a single HA pair.  Havent had any experience with CX contact unfortunately.
