I don't work with internal chat set up often, but I don't think there are any permissions related to using internal chat. The one internal chat permission I see on the
permissions list is Chat > File > Delete, and it allows administrators to delete any file uploaded to a chat room. The other chat permissions I see listed are related to
web chat,
screen share, and
co-browse.
I don't think there is a way from the UI to disable chat. I think the only thing you can
disable in internal chats is file uploads. There someone else, such as Customer care, your customer success manager, or another community member, who might be able to provide some guidance or solutions for your organization.
