    I figure purecloud updated itself automatically and if you are subscribed, you get the release notes too.
    Is there anyway we can toggle to switch AutoUpdate ON/OFF?

    Short answer: no.

    Long answer: We deploy new versions of our microservices frequently and we don't keep dozens or hundreds of versions of each microsservice around for you to decide which one you want to use.  You can know you're always hitting the latest & greatest version of all of our microservices.

    There is one exception--you can control when your edge update.  See Schedule automatic updates for the Edge software - PureCloud Resource Center

    Customer has reported their agents are getting some notification saying "New version of purecloud available, Do you want to upgrade now?"

    As we discussed earlier, the upgrades are pushed automatically then why this notication asking the user? We might end up in a scenario when half of the agent population is upgraded and half is not?

    That notification is for a new version of the UI application.  It's asking the agent to choose to update b/c it will require a refresh of the page.  This means the page will be unavailable for several seconds while it's reloading.  Also if they are on a phone call using a webRTC phone it will disconnect.  I always choose no; the next time I close the browser and re-open it I'll get the update then.  It's not a problem if half your agents are on version 8.29.0 and half are on 8.30.0.  Within a couple days all agents will have migrated to the new version whether they chose to do so from the notification or not.

    Is this possible to avoid automatic updates of PureCloud Softphone?

    Note: The PureCloud Softphone launches each time that you log in to PureCloud. At startup, the PureCloud Softphone automatically downloads its configuration and updates to the latest version.

    Customer Desktop environment is pretty locked down, so auto-update is a bit challenging.

    I'm not sure about the soft phone but it is possible to control update notifications for the desktop client:
