    Hi all,

    The customer ask us if the web chat in Purecloud support also the video channel

    For example, the customers send chat messages through website of the call center to the agents, then they starting interacting through the chat

    If the agent click on the "video" button on his Purecloud interface, does the interaction change from chat to video ?

    if you go to https://genesyspartner.gosavo.com/Document/Document.aspx?id=41705976&view=  (PRI - PureCloud User Feature Matrix - INT) you will see that  Web Chat Video is only on a Roadmap. But I would say it will not be enabled in a near time future

    Thanks for your reply, you mean that it is possible now in Purecloud through SmartVideo in the AppFoundry

    It may requires additional charges (only licenses)

    I have never used SmartVideo. It is created by a third party, not Genesys, as an add-on application for PureCloud. So, the cost will be for purchasing and/or licensing their application.
