  • 1.  Roles not showing up for OAuth Client Credentials

    Hi,

    I have a problem when creating an OAuth app, Client Credentials. When trying to assign roles to the OAuth Client, not all roles are available.
    I have created a new role, and assigned some permissions to the role, and this new role does not show up on the OAuth Client to be selected.

    Why not all roles are available to be selected?
    What is needed within a role to be available for OAuth clients?

    Hello, 
    I'm seeing the same issue as above.

    We're trying to setup OAuth and want to grant specific permissions. We want to add these to a new role instead of adding them to the 2 listed roles. ("employee" and "Master Admin")

    Thank you Ana. I'll give this a try today. Seems weird to have to assign Roles to myself that I do not "need", I suppose Genesys did this to avoid privilege escalation issues.
