  • 1.  Email Address Manipulation

    We will be receiving inbound email on PureCloud from a form on a website. The customer must enter an email address, but when the interaction is received in PureCloud the "from:" address is a "noreply" sent from the website.

    I have managed to isolate the customers email and assign it to participant data, but I need a way to set a "reply to" address, or overwrite the "from:" address. Could anyone tell me how can this be accomplished in Architect?

    How are you sending the inbound email? Typically the from address would be configured in the email provider you are using to send those emails.

    Hi Jonathan, 
    We have the exact same requirement at one of our clients to be able to overwrite the 'From address' of the participant. Because when the inbound email created by a web form reaches Purecloud, the from address has extra characters inserted into the original from address. 

    Were you able to achieve this? Can you please share how.
