Using Interaction Scripter API to retrieve IVR/inbound call attributes - caching?

My company has custom "script" code for IVR/inbound calls which we run within Interaction Scripter, which retrieves custom attributes via the Interaction Scripter's API method CallObject.getAttribute. What I am wanting to confirm is whether those attributes are cached on the client workstation, or whether each time our code calls getAttribute to retrieve an attribute it is going back to the i3 server to retrieve them. The interaction scripter logs indicate an IceLib Session is Creating and Sending a message between each getAttribute (I've attached a snapshot from those logs), so it appears it is going back to the server, but I wanted to get confirmation and a definite answer on this.
