  • 1.  Consultative Transfer with Interaction Connect and General Directory

    Hi,

    we want to use different directories to group transer targets for agents. If an agent has a call, he just clicks on an entry in a directory an uses the button "Transfer" to transfer the call. The problem we have is, that we can only do blind transfers. There is no option for "consult" like in the normal transfer dialogue. So the question is if there is a way to do consultative transfers with the directory entries ?

    You can use the entry in the directory to place a new call.  This will automatically place the current call on hold and create a second call in My Interactions.  Once both calls are present, you can click and drag the two together to create a conference to bring the parties together.  When you disconnect the top level of the conference to complete the transfer, it should leave the two parties connected.

    This also works in Interaction Connect.
