  • 1.  Target variable for IA

    ​Does anyone happen to know the variable to include in the IAShell App Properties to force credentials to be entered each time you open Administrator? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    I haven't found anything in the knowledge base specifically for this, but I have a shortcut to allow me to do this where I just specify -user=fake at the end of the shortcut target.  It throws the invalid user/password error and brings you up to the credential page where you can enter whatever user, pass and server you want.

    I only use this if I need to impersonate someone in IA to validate privileges, though.  For my four environments, I just have a labeled shortcut for each using the -notifier= option.

    ​Aha, that was it. I just had -user in there. Used to have it in there but somewhere along the upgrades over the years, left it out. Thanks for the reply, much appreciated!
