I had raised this question earlier and the answer from Genesys was that it is not currently supported and maybe for future release but no dates were given.
Maybe if they have changed their stance since, you may get a different answer.

I am trying to find some document on how admins can customize interaction Connect for users. I don't think client template works the same way for connect as it does for desktop does it? how do administrator configure views for agents when using Connect?
