Depending on how active your Dialer is, returning a full month's worth of data is going to be slow no matter what you do. In 2016 R3 the reports are still active reports (and even if they were Crystal it would still be slow). Retrieving the data isn't going to be the issue, it's the rendering of the data.
One thing you can try is to increase the amount of RAM on the workstation that's running the report. Similar to the Optimizer plug-in for ICBM, more memory will be your friend when running reports returning a large amount of data.
Alternatively, if you don't absolutely need to retrieve a full month of data, try breaking it down into smaller chunks (e.g. 2 weeks or weekly).

We are running 2016 R3 ICBM and our Agent Utilization by Campaign is taking forever to return a months worth of data. We indexed the table and made sure the data was returning through SQL profile. The lag appears to be the application and not the data based on results. Is there an ES fix for something like this or is anyone aware of something I can try?
