We are looking for clarification regarding the following Genesys Cloud Messenger bootstrap script:
https://apps.usw2.pure.cloud/genesys-bootstrap/genesys.min.js
The file is named genesys.min.js however, when reviewing the delivered JavaScript, it does not appear to be minified as expected for a production .min.js file.
Since this file is served directly from the Genesys Cloud CDN and is not configurable on our side, we would like to understand whether this is expected behavior.
Could someone please confirm:
- Is the current version of
genesys.min.js intentionally served in this format?
- Is there a minified production version available or planned?
- Is there any recommended alternative for reducing the impact of this script on page load time?
We are reviewing page performance and would appreciate any clarification or recommendations.
