  • 1.  Access Control Group with different line and Dial plan

    Posted 03-19-2019 04:19
    Hello Team,

we have created 2 different Access Control Group for example ABC(Manual Outbound and Campaign) and DEF(Manual Outbound and Campaign Call)in our Test lab set up.
Note:-Both Access Control Group is assigned to same Location.

we have created two different line and dial plan for this and our requirement is both dial plan should be dial 10 digit number without any prefix. how we can configure in dial plan?

why we are sharing same location?
Because we have only one Media server and we want to share with 2 Access Control Group [ABC(Manual Outbound) and DEF(Campaign Call)]

Is there any option to share one Media server with different Location.
Note:- Both the location is in the same LAN as its our Lab setup.

Please help me to solve this.

A media server can be assigned to a location and used by different locations.  You configure the the allowed codecs to communicate between locations in the Communication tab of a given location.  You then create selection rules for your media servers in the Selection Rules container under Regionalization and then assign those selection rules to your locations so that they choose the media servers you want in the order that you want.

Regarding access control groups in this application, they're generally only for walling off segments of your organization for security access/rights needs.  This won't really have any application in your dial plan.
