  • 1.  Platform SDK - Who changed the config object

    Posted 01-09-2019 00:08
    Hi All,

We are looking for a config server event which could tell us about the client details from which changes has been made to the config object.

We have already subscribed to the config events for the type of change i.e. create/update/delete and what has been changed but we are struggling to get the details on "Who" has changed the object.

Is there any inbuilt class/interface in Platform SDK, which could help us with this information?
Any pointer/suggestion would be a great help.

    Thanks

    Hi Ankur,

I do not see any specific class or interface that can return the user information but I was wondering if this could actually solve your problem with monitoring change management.

    Check this link

I few Genesys AppFoundry partners have developed Audit Logging applications for Config Server changes.

Eemaan offers a product called Audit Trail: https://appfoundry.genesys.com/#/filter/pureengage/listing/a8c6d293-0680-4039-9ea0-5de0fa0090d9.

BlackChair offers a product called Spotlight: https://appfoundry.genesys.com/#/filter/pureengage/listing/0753e53e-d9a4-48d7-9928-02861860dc0e

If you would like more information about either of their products just client the "Contact Us" button on their listing and they will be happy to discuss their product and your needs to see if it is a good fit.
