  • 1.  Set a contact list to readony for normal agents

    On Interaction Connect, if the user adds a contact list, e.g. "IC Public Contacts" to his Desktop to his view pane, he is able add entres and remove entries he has added before on his own, even if he does not have the directory edit right.

    How can we hide/disable the "add entry" button or set a contact list to readonly for normal agents?

    Any ideas?

    I don't think it is possible to restrict access to add entries to the public contacts. I think you need to create a custom contact list and restrict modify rights. Then again there may be a way to do this and I'm just not seeing it as pretty much everything else in the system has access control options.
