    Hello
When working on a High Availability deployment.
Can Primary Servers be installed on Windows and Backup Servers be installed on Linux?

    Is it advisable?

    thanks

Yes, but I don't recommend it for the long term.

    Thanks Ivan.
Why do you don't recommend it for the long term?

    Gonzalo,

The behavior of the underlying OS can be different which creates different capabilities in your pair.  Additionally, the maintenance and upkeep of the application may not be consistent.  Genesys may release updates which impact one OS, but not the other.  One of the things I've found to be true is that consistency is key to managing large deployments, and having a platform where long-term the behavior of one member of a pair may differ from the other member of a pair is a risk that doesn't outweigh the gains from such an architecture.
