    Good morning,

One topic that has repeatedly come up is the question as to whether our agents can change the inbound ringer sound. To quote one of them, it sounds like "electronic crickets", and I don't disagree. Having that in your ear all day, even with volume down can be a piercing experience. I've dug through settings upon settings within PureCloud, and I haven't had any luck finding it. And the documentation around this is sparse, if not non-existent. It seems like a very easy feature to have, and one that I know would save my agents a lot of literal headaches. Am I missing something, or does anyone have a creative workaround for this?

    Thanks!

I dug back into some Developer conversations, and the consensus (a year ago) was that it needs to be voted up on the Ideas Lab. Many internals are sick of the ringtone as well, but it is hard-coded in the web code (not the web page, but the code that runs in the background).

There are multiple Ideas already out there:

    https://purecloud.ideas.aha.io/ideas/PCTEL-I-166
(This one is the most recent and has 2 votes, while the others have 1 vote each.)
