  • 1.  How to update Partner Portal certification data

    Hello Genesys Certification Team,

    I'd appreciate your help with a few questions not addressed in the "Retake Policy Guide" (http://admin.viewcentral.com/events/uploads/genesys/Genesys%20Certification%20Retake%20Policy%20.pdf).  Can you please help to answer the following questions?

    1. Several team members are certified in various platforms and products.  While many certifications are visible, a handful of certifications earned prior to March 31, 2016 (see pg. 3 in Retake Policy) are missing from the Partner Portal's "GU Compliance" table.  What steps can be taken to reflect these missing certifications?
    2. In other cases, certifications prior to March 31, 2016, are listed in the table, however they're set to expire prior to March 31, 2019, which doesn't align with the policy.  What steps can be taken to align the expiration dates with the policy?

    Thank you for your question Micah, Please take a look at our response below

    1. The certifications in the partner portal is designed to only track certifications that are used for partner accreditation. It is not meant to be a certifications tracking system. We expect that individuals will hold certification that are not used in the partner portal . This would especially be apparent with certifications that are older and were obtained before March 31, 2016

    2. We are aware of this problem, If you are in this situation, your certification will count for partner accreditation until March 31st, 2019, to keep your certification active, you will have to renew your certification before this date.
