Pulse - Email alerts and Play sound when threshold met

    Hi,

    Can someone help me on how to setup sending email alerts or playing a sound as actions in pulse version 8.5, when thresholds are met?

    I understand with Pulse 9.0 Advanced Alerts are available to send email alerts.

    If you were to create your own plugin (never done so myself) then I imagine it would be possible.  But as noted you'll need to update to 9 to get email notifications out of the box and vote for this idea for sound.
