    Dears,

We are making an HA pair of Config Server in where one server is Windows Server 2012 and the other is Linux Centos but we are trying to  start the Config Server Backup this server does not initialize correctly in the logs of the config server backup with the issue we found this message below:

    15:29:50.989 Trc 04524 Client 'DbServerThread_app' disconnected

    This is our architecture:

Config Server Primary is running in  Windows Server2012
Config Server Backup is running in Centos
Versions of the Config Server is this:8.5.101.41
Dbserver 8.1.302.09  is running in Windows
    DBMS: Microsoft SQL server MSSQL14

We would like to know if its possible to create an HA environment between linux and Microsoft or its possible What can be missing in this environment to work?

Thank you very much for your help

    Edwin,

Yes, this works.  Did you load the MSSQL driver and the unixODBC software?

    Hi Ivan,

Thank you for your response, yes We confirm that the SQL Driver and the unixODBC are installed, the permissions of the directories have full access granted to the user that executes the config Server process.

We have attached a capture from linux in where you can see the unixodbc installed .
    Regards

    Edwin,

The configuration of your ODBC must be inappropriate.  There's no 'SQL Server' configuration found.

15:29:50.991 Std 07002 Execution failure: SQL statement '?', reason '[unixODBC][Driver Manager]Can't open lib 'SQL Server' : file not found ', error code 30

Once your ODBC driver is corrected, you could try again.
