    Good day all,

    I have a question based on the time OCS takes a record from a Ready state to Retrieved in the calling list. Are there any options to modify that speaks directly to the time it takes in this regard? Currently when a record is inserted into the calling list it takes about 7-8 seconds for it to go from Ready to Retrieved. Is this the standard of OCS and how it functions?

    It depends on how you have your buffer configured on your campaign groups and velocity of dialling.  Lets say you have 10 agents logged in for a campaign, minimum buffer set to 3 and optimal buffer set to 6.  Every 10 seconds (at least in our environment) OCS will check the buffer size remaining (lets say it's 20 currently), and if the buffer is less than 30 (10 agents x 3 minimum buffer) which it is in this example, then it'll then attempt to retrieve enough records to bring up to the optimal buffer size of 60 (10 agents x 6 optimal) so will try to retrieve 40 records in this example.

    That 10 seconds comes from my own observations.  Not aware of an option that changes that.
