  • 1.  Can we reset pulse statistics in the widgets to zero.

    Posted 02-05-2020 06:16
    Team,

In genesys Pulse application, can we reset pulse values to zero. Whether it is possible by restarting the statserver application.
And one more concern in the pulse application testing
When the test call were made, And the call is answered by agent. And the ongoing call, gets disconnected automatically after 30 seconds.
Can you please tell, why call is automatically getting disconnected.
We are making test calls using xlite application, since we using sip server.

Looking forward for your helpful reply.

    Thanks,

Stat Server (RTME) is the master of the statistics.  Pulse Collector is just responsible for snapshotting the statistics and making them retrievable by Pulse.  I think if you were to set the auto-backup-interval to 0 on all stat servers and kill them all, then yes your statistics would reset.  Not that you'd want to run a system in real life like that.  Alternatively you can use the time profiles on your statistics to reset more regularly (or if they're agent stats use SingeLogin and simply have the agent log out and log back in).

You'd be best starting a new thread about your disconnect issue as it's unrelated to Pulse. However the 30 second disconnected points to some SIP Messaging (or maybe the RTP) not being communicated correctly (OK Sent but not received or ACKed for example).  You'll need to check the SIP logs.
