    We have made an extension for WDE 8.5 that adds call control from Jabra headsets if you are using the Genesys SIP client.

    When we build our extension we reference some Genesys assemblies – and that works fine. However if we distribute our extension (that is build against a certain version of WDE) – we get an error about strong name assemblies. You can about one example of this issue here:

    Our current workaround is to rebuild the extension – this fixes the issue.

     

    The question: Are we doing something wrong when we reference the Genesys assemblies? Or does an extension needs to be rebuild against a specific WDE version?
