    Hi All,

    is there other way in GAX/Pulse to built custom statistics and pull data from external database without using Java Extensions in Stat Server. 

    Like in CCPulse it is possible to use Javascript and connect directly to external database to pull the data.

    Hello,

    Its possible by using IFrame component. You just need to develop some html/js code behind this IFrame.

    Thanks for your response.

    Actually, I wanted to avoid any development and looking something either in script form or some configurable things if possible. If not then have to choose IFRAME or Web Service API.

    I used a script in CCPulse template by using feature 'ExtendedCurrentStatus' and it pull the data directly from database but it does not work in Pulse because I think ActiveX is not supported by browsers as I am getting Error "Uncaught ReferenceError: ActiveXObject is not defined."

    Do you have any reference doc or sample html/js code which I can try to use in Iframe.

    Thanks for ref docs. 
    So, if I refer to the 3rd doc of Pulse UI Ext, we can implement java extension and in pulse.manifest.js (example file in doc) where we can write  SQL select statements same as in SS Java Extension. Is this correct ?
