Hi all

Does Genesys VXML / MCP support streaming of audio in a VXML prompt?
The scenario being that instead of making hard reference to a audio file in a VXML audio prompt,
I want to be able to pass a web HTTP url which is a streaming service (not just a web server with the audio file).

Yes, you can play a prompt via any valid HTTP URL and the audio must be in a valid format accepted my MCP.

Thank you for response however can you confirm that it is streaming audio? 
Which means there is no audio file instead a buffered audio stream is passed to the MCP.

I believe streaming is officially supported for MCP.  From the GVP User's Guide:

RTSP Server Support
The Media Control Platform supports the following RTSP servers:
Note: Because of a streaming hint format compatibility issue, MCP recorded
3GP files cannot be played by the Darwin Streaming Server.
