  • 1.  GAAP Linking to external VXML application

    Hi Everyone,

    I'm adding a DB dip to a GAAP call flow using a VXML application created in Composer and I'm running into issues.

    Does anyone know the best way to pass variables from GAAP to an external VXML, and then back again?
    Do I need to attach to the call in GAAP and then send it to VXML, or is there a cleaner way to pass them?

    The flow looks like this:
    1. GAAP  ID&V module collects digits
    2. Success
    3. Link block to external VXML
    4. External VXML queries DB using collected digits
    5. External VXML stores outcome as variable
    6. Call returns to GAAP
    7. GAAP interceptor evaluates variable and directs call based on its value

    I can't find any documentation describing this anywhere

    Hi Jarryd,

    did you find out how this communication works?


    I also need to send my call from a GAAP App to an external (Composer) VXML. 

    When I use the link block to send to my vxml app I get a 405 error on the fish.log.

    Can you help me?
