    Hi,

    has anybody implemented SSG ( Supplementary Services Gateway ) in High Availiability  ( Redundancy -> Pri+bkp ) solution ?
    I don't mean separate and independent of each other two SSG instances ?

    Just following your thread.  

    I currently have SSGs deployed with a load balancer in front of it, which doesn't match your request.  So I'm just being curious.

    Hi Tony,

    yes, I also thought using LB but according to Genesys' Feedback - it's not recommended solution.

    So I'm considering a shell script that will be verifying continuously the statuses of both SSG instances but the trigger applic. will also have to be developed und updated - so it's a bit weak solution.

    I'm not sure why Genesys would say that.  I'll have to review the documentation again.  However, I don't use any of the Callback features, etc.  Just for our IVR and Virtual Hold use SSG to make out-dial calls.  So this may depend on which SSG features you're using.

    Just fetch the root page and look for a '200 OK' response.

    Hi,

    We use also for standard 'IVR outbound' calls with VXML application in RM-MCP and the requirements is to implement some HA.
    What kind of LB do you use ?  I assume it's stable solution.

    Have you considered using the OutboundIVR_SSG.xml to list your SSG's to access for outbound calls?

    No I've not, I don't know the OutboundIVR_SSG.xml file and could not find in SSG package.
    What exactly do you mean by this OutboundIVR_SSG.xml ?
