  • 1.  setting up a secure connection using Ihub from Genesys Intelligent Automation GIA

    Hi,

I am struggling to make a secure http connection from GIA. I have uploaded the client side certificate and private key under the http settings tab. But when I try to run a test I always get the following error: "java.lang.RuntimeException: Failed to create HTTP connection pool".

Are there any settings that need to be tweaked in the administration tab

or maybe I am missing this step: "When calling an external web site using Groovy, the list of trusted SSL certificates must be provided.". In that case where should I provided the aforementioned list.

    Thanks

    David

    Hi David,

Have you had any luck with this? I've recently come across a similar issue where I get the below error:

javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

Going through Administration > Certificates allows you to Import a certificate by specifying the host and port, as long as GIA can connect to it to retrieve the certificate.

I've successfully imported a few certificates however GIA continues to display this error when connecting to the URL.

    Regards,

    Oscar

    Hi Oscar,

Unfortunately I have not made any progress with this issue.

Although from your snippet I guess you are facing a slightly different problem. (I receive a "Failed to create HTTP connection pool for <my-host>")

I did open a case to genesys support team though they are still trying to solve it. They told me that after loading the certificates in the appropriate http settings' field of the Integration tab it should automatically load them in the server and made them available for SSL requests

    BR,

    David
