    Hi All,

Wanted to check and see  the following:

If Holidays were approved before the Time off limits and plan were put in place, is there any way to get these to update against the time off limits?

My understanding would be the limits and plan would need to be in place before you allow people to book the holidays, so just want to check if anyone came up against this issue?

    Thanks,

    Darren

Your understanding is correct - the plans and limits would need to be in place before the time off request(s). There is the following idea that would help with the scenario when that is not the case: https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/ideas/WEM-I-855

    Jay,
Related question/confirmation. It seems like if I place a time off directly on the schedule, it does not go against the limits, rather it must go through the request process and be approved before it goes against the limit. Is this the case?

    Hi Jay,

Thank you for your question. Your understanding is correct, when you directly place a time off on the schedule it does not go against limits. We plan to improve this in the future, to automatically create a time-off request  when you add it on the schedule view. That way, the request would count against the limits. The idea for this feature is located here - https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/ideas/WEM-I-131

Any votes are always appreciated :)

    Thanks,
