    Resource Management

    Hello, Community Members!
With Genesys Workforce Engagement suite, companies can manage the contact center operations regardless of location as it consolidates, on a single platform accessible any time, from anywhere, workforce management capabilities that are elastic and can adjust from regional to global reach and facilitates workforce management answering the need for flexible work scenarios.
We're proud to announce that on May 18th, 2022, users will be able to Export and Import a forecast in a user-defined time zone. Now organizations can better manage their forecasts and easily export and import a forecast in their preferred time zone.
Export and Import Forecasts in User Defined Time Zones
There are times when Genesys Cloud forecasters need to export their forecasts. Forecasts could only be exported in the UTC time zone format in the past. However, with this new enhancement, forecasters will be able to select a time zone and have the exported forecast match that time zone. This will make it easier for Forecasters to understand and manage their exported forecasts. Forecasters will also be able to leverage the new time zone formats when importing a forecast by including a time zone name and UTC Time-zone designator in their import file.
    Key features
    • New Forecast Export Menu Options
      • Export Forecast (Selected Time Zone) – When selected, an export is triggered with the forecast data matching the time zone in the time zone selector.
      • Export Filtered Forecast (Selected Time Zone) – When selected, an export is triggered with the forecast data matching the time zone in the time zone selector and with the user-selected filters.
    • Forecast Time-zone Import Example File – An example Time Zone import file is available in the forecast creation screen for Import Short-Term Interval Forecast Data.
