Hi Tracy,
Thank you for the explanation. Can you elaborate further on your advice? Am I right in understanding that Calculated Staffing is what the system thinks the number of staff you need for each time step to meet the SLA, based on the demand (call volume and AHT), whereas coverage is the staffing level that we have scheduled?
If yes, can we compare the both with the assumption that the difference is what's required vs what's actually happened?
Staffing is also just an example, we also need to understand the relationship between calculated, scheduled, required and forecasted for some of the other measures, such as Service Level.
@Lisa Cummings, assuming you are on Genesys Engage Cloud (and on the same version we have), you can do so by navigating to the top left corner
Home>Performance>Intra-Day. You may be able find some information
here. Hope that helps!
Thanks,
Tang

Hi Tang,
The attached document I put together to try to help the questions around these statistics - let me know if that helps. If not I can source more information.

Hi Tracy,
Thank you for your prompt response. This is primarily on the Performance > Intra-Day page, but these measures can be found in various parts of WFM (for example, Contact Centre Performance Report, Schedule > Master Schedule > Intra-Day etc.)
Thank you.

Hi there,
We are attempting to understand the difference in the various statistics in WFM, namely between Scheduled, Calculated and Forecasted. For example, calculated staffing vs scheduled staffing (I assume this is "Coverage"), what are the main differences?
In the scenario involving staffing, understanding this will help us know how many staff the forecasting engine predicts we need for each interval, versus the actual number we are scheduling on.
I have combed through quite a few Genesys guides, but the descriptions are not very helpful unfortunately.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!
Tang
