  • 1.  Update on Compliance and Reg-F for Latitude

    The following provides an overview of the new features and capabilities we are building into both Latitude V10 and Liquid Latitude (where it doesn't already exist) in support of overall compliance and targeting requirements outlined in Reg-F.  The items below are in development and we will be releasing them in logical segments as development and testing completes, our goal is to deliver early/mid-October to allow for testing and any remediation required.

    Validation Notice / Credit Bureau Reporting

     

    • New policy if Validation Notice required
    • New Account level (Master Table) fields for:
      • Validation Notice Send Date
      • Validation Period Expiration Date
      • Validation Period Completed Flag (True/False) default is False
    • Validation Period calculated as:
      • 30 days (Excluding Weekends and Holidays) from date of Validation Notice
      • If Validation Notice sent via Letter, Validation Period starts 5 days AFTER Validation Notice sent
    • Letter Sent where considered 1st Notice:
      • Set the Validation Notice Sent Date
      • Calculate the Validation Period
      • Set the Validation Expiration Date
      • Set the Validation Period Completed as False
    • Custodian Task to set Validation Period Completed Flag based upon Validation Period Expiration Date
    • Mail Return on Validation Notice invalidates Validation Sent
      • Clears Validation Notice Send Date & Validation Period End Date on Master Table and sets Validation Period Completed Flag to False
    • Credit Reporting blocked if:
      • Validation Notice Required policy is set
      • Validation Period Completed Flag is False
    • Validation Notice Send Date, Validation Period Expiration Date & Validation Completed added to Query Tool Conditions
    • Add Validation information to Work Form / Agent Desktop (Non-Editable)
    • Add Mail Return capability for single or linked accounts (Exists in V10)

     

    Itemization

     

    • New Account level (Master Table) fields for:
      • Itemization Date Type (Optional)
      • Itemization Date
      • Itemization Balances 0 through 5 (Total Balance, Principal, Interest, Fees, Charges, Other)
    • Add Itemization fields to letter merge fields
    • Add Itemization fields to Query Tool Conditions
    • Add Itemization fields to Work Form / Agent Desktop (Non-Editable)
    • Add Itemization fields to Exchange schemas for New Business and Maintenance

     

    Consent Management / Preferred Method and Time

     

    • Add Phone Consent (May Call, May Dial, May SMS, May Fax) to all Phone numbers (Exists in Liquid)
    • Add Who provided phone consent and method of obtaining to all Phone numbers (Exists in Liquid)
    • Add Email Consent (Exists in Liquid)
    • Add who provided email consent and method of obtaining (Exists in Liquid)
    • Add preferred method of communication (Exists in Liquid)
    • Add preferred time to call to all phone numbers
    • Add Consent indicators, method obtained, consent provider and preferred method of communication to Query Tool Conditions
    • Add changes to consent setting captured in Notes / Events (Exists in Liquid)
    • Add Consent indicators for Phone and email to AIM and AIM Receiver (Exists in Liquid)
    • Add Preferred time to call to AIM / AIM Receiver
    • Opt-In / Opt-Out Management
      • Consent indicators for SMS on phone numbers and/or email address will be used to manage opt-in/opt-out
    • Add all Consent, Preferred Method of Contact and Preferred Time to Call to Exchange schemas for New Business & Maintenance

     

    Phone Attempts / Conversations

     

    • Consolidate all tracking of phone results to single table from:
      • Action / Result code on Notes
      • Quick Phone Status (Dropdown)
      • Dialer integrations (DialerBus & Genesys Integrations)
      • Dialer Update Service
    • New Policy for Phone Restrictions:
      • Enable and Disable Attempt / Conversation tracking
      • Enable or Disable Phone Quick Status & appropriate Action / Result codes if Account not callable
      • Enable or Disable Click-to-Dial if Account not callable
      • Maximum number of Attempts per set number of Days setting (Account level)
      • Maximum number of Attempts per set number of Days setting (Phone type)
      • Set days is Calendar or Rolling
    • Existing Action / Result codes support Attempt and Contact attributes, however:
      • Add counter updates to Liquid Events and Result Mapping
      • Add attribute to Result codes to indicate if "Limited Content Communication"
    • On Linked Account where attempt is made but no conversation takes place
      • Only current account has attempt counter incremented
    • On Linked Account provide mechanism to indicate which accounts were discussed when a contact (conversation) is logged
      • Display list of linked accounts and allow selection, if selected then account is considered to have had a conversation
    • Add new Account level (Master table) fields:
      • Last Attempt date
      • Total Attempts
      • Next Allowable Attempt Date
    • New Account level (Master table) fields available in Query Tool
    • Logic to support 7 attempts in 7-day evaluation
    • Logic to support no attempts for 7 days after a conversation (contact)
    • Logic to support Consent to call again after a conversation (contact)
    • New Query Tool condition to indicate account is Callable
    • New Warnings to indicate Callable / Non-callable status of account

     

    Historical Transactions

     

    • Ability to load historical financial transactions that do not affect account balance (Payhistory or new table)
    • If new table – add table fields to Exchange schemas for New Business & Maintenance

     

    AIM / AIM Receiver

     

    • All data records (Client & Agency) with Phone data pass consent fields
    • All data records (Client & Agency) with email data pass consent fields
    • Placement files support including Payment History records
    • Ability to Send / Receive all historical Compliant or Dispute records

     

    Post Upgrade Scripts

     

    • Ability to set Itemization data
    • Ability to update Validation notice / period settings on account
    • Ability to evaluate callable / non-callable status of accounts

    Hi Ian,

    I understand that these items are still going through the development and testing phases with Genesys but I would like to ask a couple of questions.

    1. Some of our current environments are on version 10.8. Will we need to be on version 10.9 or 10.10 in order for us to integrate the new enhancements?
    2. If the enhancement is requires the latest version of Latitude, What is Genesys's current availability to perform the necessary database updates prior to the release?
    3. Are there any plans to make these enhancements available for the V11 version of Latitude as well?
