You can use /api/v2/scripts/{scriptId} to get a script, but as Joshua mentioned it does you no real good because there is no import. Best you can do is save as template and export for posterity.

At this time we do not have a way to back up scripts or templates. We are in the process of getting the import / export feature for scripts out there for everyone. This will allow you to export the script to make your own backup and the import it back in to re-create it. This will only work with Scripts to start with. As for templates that is something we could look into in the future.
