We are testing having a fax cloud service receive a fax and email the document to us as a PDF.

The email has been received into the correct que and the PDF is attached. When we try to open the document, it appears that the only option is to save the document. Is it possible to open the document?

Our plan was to have all the email faxes go to one que, have someone monitor the que and when an email is received they would open the attachment to determine the appropriate que ​and then blind transfer it to that que. If we have to save the document before it is viewed, that may kill our plan.

Hi Ben,

There is no way to view/open the attachments before downloading them.

Using your company's domain you can view the messages in Outlook, but download the file sounds easier.

I think the only way to preview this info before routing to another queue is if you send the content as an inline image.

I have a PDF viewer extension in Chrome which allows me to view a PDF attachment to an ACD email in a new Chrome tab, without going through the "download to folder" hassle...

I have the PDF Viewer extension and that works great but my customer also receives .doc .docx and image files.   Have you found a solution to view these types of files without downloading them.  Thanks.
