    Hi Everyone,

we are trying to setup a process where call metadata can be extracted into MySQL / SQL

with stats dispatcher no longer being available what other methods are available to automate extracting call data from Genesys cloud to MySQL?

Remember that the data in Genesys Cloud is non-structured and in a data lake, not a database.  You access the data through the API or the UI.  To get data out, most people use batch jobs on the API, but others run reports daily as CSV's and then use that to import into SQL.  An alternative is to use EventBridge or Notifications to capture data in real time and write to your SQL database.

Avtex Insights on the AppFoundry uses the API method to create structured database in Azure that can then be accessed with SQL tools.

    Hi Rob,
Just a question about EventBridge. Who pays for the AWS processing of real time notifications?
    Kind Regards

From what I have seen with the Beta, it is all on AWS, so you would pay on your AWS account.  This is just an integration that allows EventBridge to subscribe to GC notifications, so there is nothing on GC that could be billed, but you never know with Genesys.

    Hi Rob,
Yes that is correct so a client needs to be very careful the type of data one tales unless cost is no issue.
    Kind Regards
