  • 1.  Additional day in list in short term forecast

    Hi guys

I'm sure it's simple and I've just overlooked something.  But when you create a short term forecast, under the planning days list, there's an additonal day - Monday+.

What is that for and where does it come from?

It is to ensure we have forecast for up to one additional day for shifts that span into that day. E.g., for a weekly forecast/schedule starting on Monday it is possible to have a shift that starts the last Sunday and extends into the following Monday. For this reason we always produce a forecast for one additional day longer than the forecasting/scheduling period.

Thanks Jay that makes sense.  So if there are no work plans/shifts that go through overnight into the Monday then that data from the forecast isn't used at all?
