    Hi,

    has anyone come across a message stating "You are using a deprecated signalling service". Please contact your administrator." whilst using PureCloud/Genesys Cloud when dealing with calls?

    Any info around this would be appreciated.

    Would your trunk be setup for TLS with 1.0?  That is gone.  Also check the Media section at the bottom of the trunk and see if you have some rouge CODEC assigned.

    We get the odd user that gets this message as well.  The BYOC Cloud trunk setup in our Org by Genesys is configured for TCP, not TLS.  It's not every user either and not every call.  I thought I'd come across where this may be a proxy issue with the user's connection.  Is that far off the mark?

    There are two web sockets that connect, Hawk and Realtime. Hawk is the primary web socket with a fall back to Realtime which is being deprecated. We have seen cases where following a connection drop, the Realtime service recovered first and this message was displayed.

    Thanks Jason, this is an old thread and we're not seeing as much of these pop up as we used to.  Is there anyway for us to see if this is the case?  Will this show up in the browser console logs at all?
