Disabling Inbound Call Greeting

    On an Inbound Call, the first thing the Caller hears is (something like) "Please stay on the line while you are connected to …"; this is played before alerting and routing to Voicemail.

    Is there any way to disable it?

    Yes. You have to disabile the FAX capability in the role assigned to the Agent. Actually this greeting is for GC to identify if the incoming interaction is a FAX or a voice call.
