    Is there any way to make Voicemail notifications with the attached .wav file recording work for a HIPAA compliant ORG?

    We are HIPAA compliant because we deal with health insurance. But we've got a couple business units that would like to have those notifications with the attached recording. Is there any way to make that work for a subset of our company that never deals with the health insurance?

    Not a present, but there are things in the works to address this.  For now, you could turn off HIPAA and allow emails to be sent through a 3rd-party SMTP server that could strip any possible PII (Recordings or PDF) if they are not to users of your domain.

    As Robert said below, we're working on a solution for at least letting users in HIPAA-enabled orgs know they have a new VM or Fax via email.  However, we are planning only to provide the notification email with a timestamp, nothing more (no attached files).  Its a middle ground solution that maintains HIPAA compliance while still informing users of new items.  Please take a moment to vote on the idea: https://genesys.aha.io/ideas/ideas/CLCOLL-I-342

    Is there a way to have email notifications sent when the caller doesn't leave a voicemail? from the tests I have made, the email notification is only sent when there is a voice message that was recorded.  It's equally useful to get notified when a caller doesn't leave a message.

    Hi Hichem - not currently.  That would be a new feature request, something like 'provide email notifications for missed calls.'  Thanks!
