  • 1.  Adding *67 with RegEx to make caller Anonymous

    Posted 10-20-2020 14:35
    Hello, I have a customer who needs to make his Outbound calls Anonymous or from a "Private Number" at the callee screen. As far as I know, this can be done by dialing *67 before the number you want to call, but if you want to use this feature in the outbound dialer calls you need to modify the identity section/Outbound from trunks, adding the "Match regular expression" and "Format regular expression".

    How could I achieve that? I was thinking in using the following:

    Match regex: ^(sip[s]?:|tel:)(\+)(.*)
    Format regex: \*67${1}${2}${3}

    Can you please help me?

    Ty in advance. Regards.

    Hi Agustin,

    Have you found a solution for that  ?
    i would like to do the same, on a specific trunk for some specific user, make anonymous calls.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi,

    On the trunk configuration you can set the caller address to "anonymous@anonymous.invalid" and address override method to "Always", this will force all calls out of that trunk to be anonymous.  I do not currently believe you can add this to a campaign though

    Thanks Luke
