  • 1.  Get purecloud email address

    Hi

Is there any way I can get the pure cloud address in the following scenario

We are forwarding the customers email for example from help@customerdomain.com to help@help.mypurecloud.com. From the built in variable Email.Message.to I get the help@customerdomain.com address.

Is there a variable or any other way I can get the mypurecloud address.

    Hi Brendan,

You can create a custom attribute with this information in your email flow (Set Participant Data), but you would need an individual flow for each mypurecloud e-mail address.

I'm not an Exchange admin but assuming that's your customer's enterprise email system that's forwarding emails over to the mypurecloud.com email, I wonder if there's anything within Exchange that would allow you to modify the subject line before forwarding to include some identifier you could then extract out using email.message.subject.  Or have Exchange add something to the body of the email before forwarding that you could then read out using email.message.body.

The problem then I suppose is what to do with future messages in the same thread/conversation and how that manipulation would look.

    Hi

    Thank you for your responses.

I resolved this by doing the following

Created a table that contains all email addresses
I then convert this to a list with the split character as a ,
I then run this through a loop comparing it to the built in variable email.message.to

    Regards
