This is nothing that I have tried, but I am wondering if you could set up something in DNS or a redirect on your web server to take a dummy
http://whatever.whatever.com address and redirect it to the dynamicsnav:// address? That way you would use the http:// address in the script but it would redirect within that control in the script to the desired endpoint. Maybe.

Hi Joshua,
the dynamicsnav:// is not working with the scripter.open URL. Do you maybe see a workaround to use that protocol?
thank you for your help!

Hi Rafael Kaufmann,
We do not support others besides https://. http:// or mailto. Our code will not prepend http or https to that string but since I am not familiar with dynamicsnav:// I can say if it will just work or not without some special config changes on our end. Should be easy enough to try.

Hi Joshua,
Thanks for your answer. It works perfectly fine. Do you maybe know if there is a possibility to use other protocols like dynamicsnav:// the same way?
cheers

Hi Rafael Kaufmann,
This is possible today. You need to create a button an attach the action Scripter.Open URL when you click that button. Here are some docs about that action and it has a section about doing mailto for that action. https://help.mypurecloud.com/articles/available-script-actions/. I verified that this was working in my script.

Hello,
I have a question regarding the Screen pop Script in Pure Cloud. We want to show a button to agents that opens a local e-mail client (Outlook) with customer email as parameter.
mailto://musterman@domain.com
When we use the Button in the script editor the script engine always append "https" before the link. Is there a solution or workaround.
kind regards
