email sending of Automatically Generated Scheduled Reports

    Hi

PureCloud is not able to have the automatic Automatic Generated Scheduled Reports , sent by e-mail (i.e.: after being generated weekly or in a monthly basis) to the concerned supervisors and managers (e-mail distribution list).

This is a common feature found in several Contact Center Platforms (including other Genesys one/s), and it is a very interesting feature, of course decreasing the time dedicated to distribute the automatically generated reports by e-mail manually.

Attached a screen snapshot of the Reporting tool configuration options currently offered.

Hope this idea will be positiively considered and voted to have then implemented soon.

Please do vote for this idea, if you think it may be helpful:

Thanks for your attention and help.

    Best regards,

Just as an alternative we found that training the managers who have access to the reports to make sure they run and schedule the same reports as we do for the same time frame. Alternatively we've spent some time on amalgamating the details through the API to develop all the agents reports into one, with additional MI included gives better functionality, but this does take some development time and cost, along with eliminating the use of the reports function within the system completely!

Although this is a pretty basic function available on other platforms - in particular it's bemusing that we input our e-mail address into our profiles, but their's very limited functionality as to what it can be used for, if we can send passwords out to people then it shouldn't be too much of a jump to do the same with reports?

Just as an FYI...to my knowledge, there is no intent within Product Management to put any more work into the Reports that are packaged with PureCloud. All efforts are being focused on improving the Performance Views, the exports from them, and creating reports based on the Performance Views instead.

We have been heavily investing in our analytics capabilities and plan to continue to do so.

We have made enhancements and improvements to the reports, but our focus has been primarily on the Performance views as these provide our users with many more options of how they'd like to see their reports - which columns, what order for the columns, wide selection of filters, etc to drive your own custom dynamic reports.

To that end, we've been investing in getting CSV export for the views and will be releasing Interactions Export very soon.  Then currently in development we're working on the ability to create PDF custom exports as well.   Once we have that support, then we will add scheduling of these view exports which will allow you to send to other PureCloud users as well as external emails.     We're also working on allowing an option for formatted durations in the CSV (HH:MM:SS.mss) in addition to milliseconds as well as an option for the export to only include the columns you currently have selected.

Please keep the feedback coming so we can ensure we are building capabilities that will drive value for you.

Thank you for these sneak peeks (more detailed of the official road map).
I wonder if there is any plan in the future to add in the interaction view, also the (custom) attributes.

    Best Regards

Will any of this investment be put into taking locales into consideration e.g. dates in non-US format and weeks beginning on Monday not Sunday....?

All - Just wanted to update you that we have added the ability to email as an attachment any Performance View Report exports to yourself and others.  it released last week.   We're currently working on the scheduling of those Performance View Reports too so stay tuned.

If you want to be able to email - you will need to give that permission to the users:  Analytics > Data Export > Publish

Thanks for the update...are there plans to allow the standard reports to be emailed as well? Those can already be scheduled, but it would be very helpful if we could email them as well.
