Hello,

Context: I'm really new with using Genesys and I'm looking to import a large number of users using a .csv file and the bulk import option. I've been referencing the documentation found here, and my question pertains to the email_manager field. I've already added in the managers into the directory.

Problem: When I try to import, I get an error message that says, "Highlighted records' manager does not exist in the import. You may still import these individuals, but managers not already in PureCloud must be manually associated." and every record is highlighted.

Question: How do I appropriately use this field, email_manager with the bulk importer?

I would appreciate any guidance on this topic. Thanks!

You can try two things.  One is two imports - one for managers first and then one for users.  I don't know if this will work, but you can also try to place the manager at the top of the CSV before import and see if when those are created, the users will be mapped to them.
