Documentation says it is stored in the cloud, but my experience it that that is not always brought down. Incognito seems to always ask for a new profile. Logging in from hotel also asks.

I agree this has been a black box for most people and a pain when using shared computers or as you have discovered, environments with no local user profiles. I think this idea speaks to this: https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/ideas/OP-I-553. I would much prefer to have these settings stored in the cloud, but then you would have to deal with issues where the local environment does match the settings stored in the cloud. Oh well!

With respect to Create a new audio profile - Genesys Cloud Resource Center. I wanted to know where configuration for these is stored on the local Windows 10 OS. I have noted that our corporate laptop builds do not maintain these when a user logs off. That is, the audio profile becomes greyed out in Genesys Cloud because something locally has not been persisted on the Windows 10 OS / user profile.
If I use a non-corporate build the configuration with Genesys Cloud remains, for want of a better words Sync'd/blue...not greyed out. I've run regshots and process monitors to try an identify what's being changed but have not identified anything to date. I understand that the Genesys database maintains its version of the configuration but where it lines this up with the Windows OS i've no clue. Is anyone familiar with this?
