I found that the Markdown function in the Agent Script is not working for some scenarios.

Like the code below

Some Content Here
</details>

It should be viewed like this

▶ Click to expand!

and after you click on it, it expands like this

▼ Click to expand!
     Some Content Here

However, in the Genesys Cloud, it is not working and I found it is because of <p> </p> automatically generated in the HTML


Please anyone can fix this problem?

While this looks cool and useful, I fear that Genesys did not exactly build in all the Markdown Syntax there is and they have a very different format than the standard out there.  I tried many things, but got very different results.  The sites they reference don't have the Details/Summary examples you have.  I would say open a ticket and see if you can find ANYONE that has even heard of this much less used it at Genesys.  I'll keep playing and see what I get.

Hi Charles,

The reason this is not working is because with the markdown component we do not process html at all. The markdown component sees this html and converts to text. We at this time do not support any form of html going into the markdown component because it opens the door for security issues. We will look to update the documentation to say that html is not supported in the markdown component.
